A poem that originally appeared in the anthology, Heart Shoots, features on Josephine Corcoran’s wonderful blog, And Other Poems today.

Heart Shoots was published in April to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and was compiled with the aim of reaching all members of the buying public. As a result, Clocks positioned itself (rather boldly, I thought) next to Robert Browning whilst trying to glimpse the likes of Seamus Heaney, Bob Dylan and Leanard Cohen on the pages ahead. The collection also includes poems from Joni Mitchell, Pascale Petit, Sharon Olds and Moniza Alvi, to name a few.

Heart Shoots

Very proud to have a poem included in the new anthology from Indigo Dreams Publishing that aims to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Heart Shoots is the successor to Soul Feathers, the 2011 anthology initiated by Annie Morgan and co-edited by Annie and Ronnie Goodyear.

Heart Shoots has retained the ethos of of publishing poems from the newcomer to the international famous and includes poetry by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Seamus Heaney and Sharon Olds.

Please follow the above link for more information and details of how to purchase your copy.

Congratulations to Sharon Olds on winning the T S Eliot award.

Sharon Olds wins TS Eliot poetry prize for Stag's Leap collection on divorce | Books | The Guardian.
